Garlic Butter Prawns

An amazing flavor combination of garlicky, buttery goodness - so elegant and easy to make

  • 1 1/2 pounds tiger prawns (or any kind)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • 5 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • Parsley (optional)
  • Remove scale and head of the prawns but keep the tail.
  • Rinse the prawns with water and pat dry with paper towels then set aside.
  • In a skillet melt the butter under medium heat.put in the garlic stirring it frequently until fragrance about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the prawns while stirring it to combine for about 1 minute.
  •  Put the tomato ketchup and sugar while stirring continuously until become a bit thicker for   about 1 minute
  • served immediately, garnished with parsley.
