Moroccan Pita Bread




I love it when i learned new recipe.This recipe inspired me to make by Morrocan friend.Although some of my pita did nit puff up all but its taste good:).Its nice to serve with hummus,lentil soup,chicken tagine or u can simply dip it in olive oil.


INGREDIENTS
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup semolina flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp  yeast
3 tbsp oil
2 cups water devide


METHODS
* Mix the yeast with 1/4 cup warm water add 1 tsp sugar stir set aside for 5mins.(if u are using instant yeast u cN skip this and jst add it in the mixture)

*In a bowl mix the all purpose flour semolina and sugar.

* Add in the yeast mixture oil and water.Mix it well to form a dough.The dough should be soft and nit sticky if it becomes sticky jst add a lityle bit flour on it .

* Knead the dough for about 10mins

* Covee the dough and rest it for 30mins

* Divide the dough and form.it into small balls and Flatten it to form a circle

* Cover the dough and leave it for 1hr

* Heat up the non stick paan in medium heat and cook the dough turning it several times until it puff and turns golden brown.
